LMKG Project: Sachets

Made a couple sachets;  one sock yarn, one sparkly yarn, one with stripes.

I had big plans to knit piles of these for quick Christmas give-aways, but that didn’t happen. Maybe another time.

These sachets have an interesting method of shaping: they are double knit then you slid them around on the needles 90 degrees so they are pinched together from opposite corners and bind off.  Ingenious really.

in other knitting, this is some of the pile of knitted gifts before they were mailed off.

There’s more, there’s always more knitting!

  1. Great use for those last bits of yarn, or even some small amounts of spindle handspun.

  2. I haven’t knit anything as double knit. I did put them in my queue and have odds and ends of worsted weight yarns and even some lavender from the garden all dried that I thought to put in them. I just need to try them!
