The BSD Project

Did you know that according to the Beaverton School District statistics there are officially over 1,600 students that fit the criteria for “homeless”???  See this article here.

Well, that is way too many, period.  So the BSD Project is doing something about it.  And so am I.

First completed project:   the Free Pattern, Simple Yet Effective Shawl, made with one ball of yarn and knitted in one 24 hour period.

If you need yarn, we have a bunch that has been donated, if you want to donate, contact Dina over at YarnFest

Ready, set, get your needles clacking!

Second completed project:  Free Purl Ridge Scarf, made with hand-dyed yarn and kid mohair held together for extra fuzziness.

We’ve got kids to warm up!

The third project I am combining with my LMKG Project:  The Big Lace Scarf from “More Last Minute Knitted Gifts”.  No reason why I can’t accomplish two goals at one go.
