Camping at Starvation Lake

We’re back from our ten day camping trip and I have lots of pix to share since I snapped nearly 300 of them!

The next ten days will be full of them on the goodfruit blog.

Foreground: Starvation Lake.   Background: Pend Oreille National Wildlife Refuge

Note:   Pend Oreille is pronounced “pond-er-ray”.

I hope you enjoy the trip vicariously…minus the sunburn and mosquito bites!

  1. That’s true, we were there over the 4th of July and the public campground had only three groups of campers!

  2. Looks wonderful. I think the lake was named to deter too many people from visiting! It definitely doesn’t sound like an inviting place… but the pictures tell a different story. Glad you had a great time. Can’t wait to see more pictures.
