Of Faux Flowers and Fun

Yesterday, I went to Collageand their DIY Lounge to make tissue paper flowers for my friend Shannon’s wedding reception.

We had chocolate and wine and loads of tissue paper, in fact, too much.

One entire table was full of various colors and patterns.  Surprisingly, we used up all the orange.

Here is Shannon, doing her magic fluffing to the tissue paper flower.  We made them, tossed them to her and she fluffed them.  She is a very good fluffer.

After lots and lots and lots of flower making, wine drinking, chocolate eating and joke cracking, I started making these Stars on Sticks. (Moravian Origami Stars)

They turned out to be equally fun, so I made a whole bouquet of them.

I think we can now safely say that Shannon’s wedding reception will be fun and colorful!
