Hood River Lavender Fields

After visiting all the vendors and activity around the marina, we drove off to visit some of our favorite places on the Fruit Loop. This pear is part of an orchard right next to the Lavender Fields.

I love their Lavender Balm and get a new tin of it every year.

This year we also added their new foot balm to our purchases.

There’s Chris showing me the goods he just bought.  That blue bit behind him is where they also had warm apple cider which had been steeped in lavender first for us to taste, it was delicious!

I wandered through the garden paths and snapped pix like a mad woman on her last garden tour.   (Well, you never know when the last one will be.)

Every bend in the path revealed another beauty, wanting its pix snapped.

and if wasn’t a flower it was an intersting shape

or a tree ablaze with color

or it was Chris in the Little Red Car, who gave up waiting for you to return to the parking lot and drove around the road to the end of the field and picked you up.

with this expression on his face.
