This is a layout of Scooter when we camped at the coast two summers ago. Chris likes to take the Fourth of July off to camp, and that year we went to Nehalem Bay State Park, near Manzanita.
We moved our campsite three times in order to say there for five days in a row. That was loads of fun! NOT!
On the night of the Fourth we walked down to the beach, along with many other campers, and sat in our Big Boy chairs to watch the fireworks. From there we could see the fireworks to our left, at Rockaway Beach and fireworks to our right, at Manzanita. It was like watching a tennis match.
Chris helped pick out the colors for the layout: greens, browns and blue. Big surprise there. I practiced using the new clear alphabet stamps. The only thing about them is the spacing, they are cut out so you can only place them so far apart, can’t tighten the kerning of them any more than what you see here. I borrowed some the green ink and the walnut distress from Melissa’s extensive stash. Its always nice to have a sister with a scrapbook store in her spare room:)
