Columbia River

The Quilt shop is one block from the river and when we walked out, this is what was passing by. I ran up to the dock and started snapping pix.

It is not an everyday sight for me; to see parking right on the dock and a barge bringing in a huge ship.

We watched it for awhile, chugging and churning along, and we could see several more ships off in the distance.

The weather was beautiful.

This was our last stop, and it was a perfect way to end the day.

The side of this building had a number painted on it that reminded me of pool balls, I angled this way and that and zoomed in and out before I could take a pix that showed it just right.

I have no idea what the number eleven signifies, but it was fun taking its pix.
