The Flowers at Champoeg

This time of year their are lots of them blooming everywhere I looked. The cosmos and the violets were in planters outside the visitor’s center offering a cheery welcome.

Champoeg looks beautiful clothed in flowers!

some type of ruffled columbine, is my guess

Foxgloves happily occupied several locations around the gardens

the sunshiney face of calendula

not sure what these purple flowers are, anybody???

A leaf, edged in pink, with the columbines peaking through. This is one of my favorite pix.

Chris said he never noticed the flowers, apparently he was to busy noticing the food.

As in, “What’s for dinner?” or Breakfast or Lunch or Brunch or Linner or Snack or Munchies, or Dessert?

and look! Rhubarb! My fave! I should have known the Kitchen Gardens wouldn’t be complete without a patch of rhubarb in it.
