This hand-dyed sock yarn is commonly referred to by us yarnies as “BMFA” and “STR”. Meaning “Blue Moon Fiber Arts” and “Socks that Rock”.
He did this all by himself, although I did call the shop in advance and gave them fair warning. They laughed and said, “we’ll hold his hand”, then when he came in, they said, “we know who you are!” Well, of course, he comes blowing into the shop like the proverbial “man on a mission” so who else could it be???
Each end of these gloves are using up the old “carbon” color-way, and the new color- way is called “obsidian”.
Chris likes these yarns alot, and is already plotting future knits with them. I also suspect he is plotting to buy more of the “carbon” color-way. Since I love knitting with BMFA yarns, I’ll go along with it…this time!
