Dexter climbed into the middle of the yarn pile as I was photographing the haul and began “kneading” the skeins.
Proof that BMFA is irresistable!

Another Purl Scarf, That’s What!!!
I’m a’purling along like crazy with The Purl Scarf, almost an addiction…maybe, three Purl Scarves in two weeks?
2 hours, 3 swatches, one false start, and wa-la, I have a combo I finally like when actually knitted together.

I’m on a Purl Scarf Kick, since so many people have actually asked for a scarf this Christmas!
(Who knew that’s what they wanted, good thing I asked.)
The Purl Scarf is from a book I love called, “Last Minute Knitted Gifts” and everyone in the knitting realm should have one of these books. IMHO.
So, these turn [...]

Hand dyed alpaca lace in the “Truffle” colorway. Isn’t it beautiful?
I purchased this cone of 8/2 tencel thinking I would hold it together with the Truffle to make this shawl.
What do you think? I just love putting colors together!

This was Lisa’s first year at OFFF and since she is from California, we thought it would be good to fondle her beautiful hand-dyed yarns personally.
Of course, this caused us to come home with a few.
( They followed us home! Really! Double pinkie swear it! )

Vi is ready to start a new baby sweater after she visits the first hand dyed yarn booth at OFFF.
