The highlight of Sock Summit!
Meeting my virtual friend in person:)
I read her blog “Major Knitter”, hang out in her group on Ravelry, “Finish or Frog It” exchange messages and even sent each other miniature knits for Christmas…and now we’ve met in person!
Jennifer and I got away from the Sock Summit crowds for a bit and had lunch and then spent some time knitting socks (what else?) with a cup of tea at Twisted. It was really nice to relax and visit together for a afternoon and she is every bit as nice in person as she is online:)
A kind lady sitting across from us offered to take a picture of us knitting socks while we chatted. Knitting people are the nicest people in the world…and meeting in person is a wonderful experience! Jennifer took pictures of the now infamous Lego yarn winder, and started another sock for one of her sons. Hey, Jennifer, I have an idea! Lets exchange mini knits next Christmas too! We could start a collection:P
